Звернувшись до народної мудрості ми можемо відзначити особливе ставлення до очей ще за Русі , “очі – дзеркало душі”, “по очах бачу”, тощо. Навіть з власного досвіду, кожен із нас може згадати приклад, коли звучала фраза пов'язана саме з очима людини . Можливо, це інтуїтивна оцінка не вербально висловленої інформації реакцією очей співрозмовника.
